connection
Piotr Sell,
director & filmmaker
Making films about peoples’ transformation processes and their pursuit of the fullest expression of themselves. Documenting the turning points in their lives.
Working with people on a mission — artists, creatives and activists to delve deep into their underlaying history. Striving to amplify their voices and create spaces where these stories can unfold with no restraints, leaving a tangible record for the broad audience.

Philosophy
and ethic
A maker in the past life I shifted my interests from objects to people, to explore how the multitude of life experiences leads them to finding a deeper sense of purpose.
I practice a patient approach of observatory filmmaking founded on trust and empathy. Caring for reciprocating the gift of time in every project I develop.
Together with the talents I embark on journeys exploring their identity, motivation behind work, the sense of cultural belonging and their communities. Commonly leading to striking discoveries — unique, honest and real.
